1. Capture the Whole Screen:
To grab a picture of your entire screen, just press the "PrtScn" (Print Screen) key. You'll find it around the top-right of your keyboard.
2. Capture the Active Window:
If you only want the window you're currently using, press "Alt" and "PrtScn" together.
3. Snip a Specific Part of the Screen:
To capture a particular area, press "Windows Key + Shift + S." It opens a tool where you can pick the area you want to capture. You can save or copy the picture from there.
4. Using Snipping Tool (an alternative method):
Search for "Snipping Tool" in the Windows search bar, open it, and click "New." This tool lets you select and save parts of the screen.
5. Using Snip & Sketch (another alternative):
Press "Windows Key + Shift + S" to open Snip & Sketch. It allows you to choose and edit the area you want to capture. You can save your screenshot afterward.
6. Using Snip & Sketch from the Taskbar (if available):
Some Windows 10 versions have Snip & Sketch in the taskbar. Click the icon, select "New," and choose what you want to capture.
7. Using the Snipping Bar (if available):
In newer Windows 10 versions, press "Windows Key + Shift + S" to use the Snipping Bar. It helps you capture a specific area and copies it to your clipboard.
8. Accessing the Clipboard (after capturing):
After taking a screenshot, you can paste it into an app like Paint, Word, or any image editor by pressing "Ctrl + V."
9. Save the Screenshot:
If you want to keep the screenshot as a file, paste it into an image editor or file explorer using "Ctrl + V" and save it with a name and format you like.
